Hi Mike! I have a pair of questions that are possibly antithetical (trying to learn some new words.) During your time with the CIA, did you place an emphasis on a certain type of exercises? Resistance training, cardio, etc. Secondly, any recommendations for a good whiskey, scotch, or bourbon to keep on hand to finish out a day while listening to the PDB Afternoon Bulletin? Thank you!
Mike, Greetings again from the people’s republik of Minnesota. First of all, “HP” Stands for Herbert Post. My full name is Herbert Post Lefler IV [feel free to redact that] … which is a really heavy thing to carry around all the time so.. I use HP or Lef. Secondly, as a retired 18F (US Army Special Forces Intelligence NCO) my world was made up, essentially, as estimates on most dangerous and most probable courses of action for whatever my team was planning and in the larger global sphere in order to keep the team informed. With that in mind, what is your most dangerous/most probable for the war in Ukraine, the war in Gaza, Chinese operations in the South China Sea (possibly, but not definitively including operations against Taiwan), and political instability/violence in the US as we move towards election season? Thanks again and not only do I enjoy the show, I recommend it to everyone I know that has a desire to keep an eye on the world. V/R DOL HP
The Personnel File is interesting but do you plan to keep the daily briefing in the morning because that’s what I enjoy most and really need to know?
Maytag here - Schweitzer Mt Idaho What's the downside of holding Iran responsible for the actions of their proxies? First- demand US hostages be released. Then send munitions into Iran every day until they are released. Every day. Hezbollah launches rockets. We destroy radar sites/ air fields/ power stations etc. in Iran. Houthis attack a ship. We sink all of Irans navy boats. Another US serviceman is injured or killed, here is the location of the Supreme Leader's office 35°41′31″N 51°23′55″E Too much??
