Understanding presidential foreign policy approaches, comparing information sources, and how you would approach relearning your expertise in the foreign policy space.

Hi Mike! My name is Jason, and I’m from NYC. I’m a new listener of “The President’s Daily Brief,” and I really enjoy listening to you every morning. Thank you for all your work and for keeping me “informed, safe, and cool.” I have a few questions, but please feel free to answer as you'd like. How would you compare the foreign policy strategies of the Biden administration and the Trump administration to those of previous presidents? Which administrations are most similar, and how would you classify their foreign policy approaches? How does the information you receive today compare to what you received during your time in the Agency? In what ways is public news similar or different from the sources you had access to while working there? Also, which sources do you recommend? If you had to relearn everything in the foreign policy space, how would you approach it? Thank you!

Bill From Boulder, Colorado. Wondering about background checking and vetting security personnel

Security personnel are often armed and in close proximity to the protected person. They could easily carry out an assassination, especially if they are willing to die for their cause. What steps are taken to minimize this threat?

Hi Mike, Frank from Sotheby's auction house, here in NYC. Where you can find the finest, most sophisticated artwork this side of Chelsea. We're always discreet and we're always available, so come on down and make your dream purchase a reality! My national security question for TODAY is about China's naval ambitions. What's your take on their escalating aggression and how long before they commit to all out naval warfare with the West, over Taiwan? Francis McGillicuddy, MD.

Hey Mike, With it becoming obvious that Israel has most, if not all, of the Iranian Proxies totally wired (like the old 80's reference?), what would be the motivation for Israel to not be wiping out the entirety of the Axis of Evil at this point? Keep the hits rolling. Shawn from Reno, Nevada

Hey Mike. Love the show, I had no hesitation buying the premium subscription and tell everyone I know to listen to your podcast for no bullshit news. My AMA is this: my friends and I have had a bit of a morbid conversation lately regarding where we think WW3 Will kick off when it does. one friend says it's going to pop off in the middle east when Israel goes nuclear. Friend B says it will pop off when Russia and Ukraine goes nuclear however I maintain that it will pop off when china invades Taiwan whether it goes nuclear or not. Given these three scenarios which one do you think is the most dangerous threat to starting WW3? Im kind of on the fence but think it will be a combination of all three but that china invading Taiwan will be the flashpoint. What say you?
