Hi Mike, what is your opinion on the book "Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA," by Tim Weiner? I am reading it right now and it is very critical of the CIA, almost to the point of portraying the agency as incompetent. What are your thoughts?
Mike, a few weeks or months ago, you wondered aloud if there still are limerick's in modern society. I just happen to have in my possession a dozen pages of them. I can't disclose my source, but they're good limericks. By "good" I mean "juvenile" and "inappropriate." Not sure if there's a mechanism for sharing them with the PDB. Probably not. Maybe best that way. But just wanted you to know they're still out there, and available if you need them. PBR
Mike, Happy December from the People’s Republic a Minnesota, the fraud capital of the nation. It has been a while since I have asked a question and maybe I’m late to the party on this but. Could the Ukraine war be a rehearsal for other hostilities down the road? Certainly, Putin is gathering a lot of information about NATO as a result of this that could inform planning for future operations. Could this explain why he seems to have no interest in ending the war? Because he still has CCIR elements that haven’t been met? On the one hand, it is easy to discount this from a human cost perspective. Putin is losing a lot of men and that is degrading his force. I would argue, however, that the human cost has never been much of a concern to the Russians/Soviets and, as a result, he may value the information he is getting on NATO (ISR tolerance, mobilization speed, sanctions endurance, political fracture points, drone/sensor saturation under fire, artillery‑centric attrition, etc) more than the men he is losing. Very Respectfully, HP Lefler De Oppresso Liber
I am a permanently and totally disabled veteran (Infantry veteran from the GWOT) and my wife has been absolutely instrumental with getting my disability (and many other benefits) resultant from my service and injuries. My wife Tracy battled for years to help us get through the VA bureaucracy and in so doing she discovered a passion within herself to help veterans. Tracy undertook a multi-year effort to create an A-I web based system that is focused on helping veterans in so many ways! Please allow me to introduce the system she created. It is called THEclusterfix and it's 100% FREE for veterans to use. As I said, the name of the A-I is www.THEclusterfix.com. Please don't forget the 'the' at the front of the name or the search will take you to an automotive dashboard repair shop. Let me say again, it is 100% FREE for veterans to use and we hope to keep it that way forever! I am only writing to ask if there is any way that you would be willing to help get the ClusterFix name out there? Though Tracy is setting it up as a 501c3 non-profit, right now we just want to get the name out and we'll worry about funding / donations later. We think that the most important way to help veterans with this system is to get word of mouth spreading as soon as possible. If you don't feel comfortable with helping promote THEclusterfix at this time, we completely understand! Either way, please feel free to send the ink to any other veterans, or family and friends of veterans, that you may know. Either way, we greatly appreciate your time in just reading this message and hope you all have a blessed day! Sincerely and Respectfully, Tracy & Carl Contrino
Hey Mike, What do you think is the Trump administrations best strategy for returning democracy in Venezuela and how do they defeat Russia's influence in the Western hemisphere? Also, is the U.S. military pressure enough to persuade Russia to stop giving cash & military aid to the Maduro regime? Thanks, Lt Col. G. Abramov
