I am a permanently and totally disabled veteran (Infantry veteran from the GWOT) and my wife has been absolutely instrumental with getting my disability (and many other benefits) resultant from my service and injuries. My wife Tracy battled for years to help us get through the VA bureaucracy and in so doing she discovered a passion within herself to help veterans. Tracy undertook a multi-year effort to create an A-I web based system that is focused on helping veterans in so many ways! Please allow me to introduce the system she created. It is called THEclusterfix and it's 100% FREE for veterans to use. As I said, the name of the A-I is www.THEclusterfix.com. Please don't forget the 'the' at the front of the name or the search will take you to an automotive dashboard repair shop. Let me say again, it is 100% FREE for veterans to use and we hope to keep it that way forever! I am only writing to ask if there is any way that you would be willing to help get the ClusterFix name out there? Though Tracy is setting it up as a 501c3 non-profit, right now we just want to get the name out and we'll worry about funding / donations later. We think that the most important way to help veterans with this system is to get word of mouth spreading as soon as possible. If you don't feel comfortable with helping promote THEclusterfix at this time, we completely understand! Either way, please feel free to send the ink to any other veterans, or family and friends of veterans, that you may know. Either way, we greatly appreciate your time in just reading this message and hope you all have a blessed day! Sincerely and Respectfully, Tracy & Carl Contrino
Hey Mike, What do you think is the Trump administrations best strategy for returning democracy in Venezuela and how do they defeat Russia's influence in the Western hemisphere? Also, is the U.S. military pressure enough to persuade Russia to stop giving cash & military aid to the Maduro regime? Thanks, Lt Col. G. Abramov
Drones and missiles are launched from Russia into Ukraine by the hundreds per each attack, sometimes several nights in succession. Ukraine claims to shoot down some 95% of these inbound threats. From where do these seemingly inexhaustible surface-to-air interceptors come? Are there that many Patriot missiles in the world-wide inventory? These SAMs are likely expensive — more so even than the low-tech drones being shot down. Right? Do you suppose the West will eventually run out of interceptors?
Hi Mike, Chuck from Lower Gwynedd: We've seen in the past in Russia when Putin no longer needs you or fears you you get poisoned, injected with polonium, or have unfortunately accidental falls out of high rise buildings. What happens to this that Xi has recently replaced? Are they allowed to just fade into the sunset or do they have some type of unfortunate 'accident'? I actually hope they can live out their lives at the local old Generals home playing Risk and Stratego. One last thing, any news on merch? A nice t shirt, hoodie or secret decoder ring would be nice.
Where can I find the "Day the world almost ended...." Or whatever it is called? I enjoy your free content on Youtube, I went premium to watch\see to this, but can not find.
I want to start off by saying thank you for doing the PDB, I’ve been a loyal premium member since you took over and love the show. I’ve seen you on Joe Rogan and a handful of full of tv shows, on those I’ve seen that you are a fan of cigars. I was wondering if you had any personal recommendations on brands or specific cigars for someone diving into the cigar world…. And is a small home humidor worth the investment for cigars at home? Thank you and keep up the great work with the show!
Hello Mike, Kinetic drone attacks on U.S. homeland focused on soft targets: These questions are not my own but useful nonetheless. Do we have a cross agency strategy/plan that would express which domestic agency would take charge in a kinetic drone attack? Who controls airspace security in the event of a local soft target attack(s)? Thanks, Rudy - Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Baker, wanted to tell you that I'm a big fan of the show and just signed up for PDB Premium in order to listen to "How the World Almost Ended". Big fan of your background (the Agency) and the no-nonsense news you and your team provides. My only question so far is if, along the lines of your recent series, you have looked at having the author Annie Jacobsen on your Podcast to talk about nuclear war since she just wrote a book about it. One of my favorite authors and well-versed in your field of study. I understand if she doesn't fit the mold of your show's purview but thought I would offer up the idea. Great work, thank you for your service to this nation through your work at the Agency, and I look forward to more episodes. -Your loyal listener, Phil.
Concerning the Israeli air campaign against Iran, it seems to me strange that Israel did not damage or destroy Kharg Island, the location from which they export all of their oil via shadow fleets. Without Kharg Island, the Iranian economy would be severely damaged (or might even collapse), ending the Iranian threat. If you agree with this, why do you think they have not done this?
